LIQUID HAND SOAP

OK, on Facebook my sister had posted that she was going to try making hand soap that she pinned off Pinterest. I commented on it & told her that I had made it. She asked me to blog about it, so here goes.

FOUND ON: Pinterest

DIFFICULTY: Medium

TIME CONSUMED: 30 min. for preparation (depends on how long it takes you to grate the soap) + 10 - 12 hours for cooling

WOULD I MAKE IT AGAIN: YES

I found this to be not too hard to do. The parts that was so time consuming was grating the soap & waiting for it to cool. I did it at night so that way when I woke up in the morning it was cooled.

When I got up the next morning to check on it it was kind of like jello, so I took my mixer & stirred it up. After I stirred it up it kind seemed like snot. I then took a funnel & a gallon milk jug that I had rinsed out and poured the soap into it and marked it so nobody thought it was milk, because it definitely looks like milk. I have noticed after it sits a while it turns back into like jello.

I haven't really used it yet because I already have liquid hand soap. So when that is empty I will poor my homemade liquid hand soap into the bottle. I will also blog about it to let you know how good it actually is.

HANDMADE ITEMS

I have been becoming very crafty and I enjoy it. I have made duct tape wallets, blue jean bag, infinity scarf, draped vests, one I tie died using sharpies & rubbing alcohol, & leg warmers.
